Sellstate Realty Systems Network Inc. today announced plans to expand operations with the appointment of Michael Krein, Ph.D. as executive director of franchising.

Krein is a well-known national expert on REO sales, serving as the founder and president of the National REO Brokers Association (NRBA) and owner/broker of Nevada Real Estate Services. Over the past 17 years, he has sold thousands of REO properties for various financial institutions nationwide. REOs are “real estate owned” properties that are owned by a bank or lender through foreclosures.

In addition to founding the NRBA, Krein is a member of Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce President’s Council, the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, the Nevada Association of Realtors and the Better Business Bureau. He lives in Henderson, Nev.

“I was exposed to many of the largest franchise operations in the U.S. and came to the conclusion that Sellstate offered the best business model and support in today’s changing world of real estate,” Krein said. Krein’s appointment will play an important role in Sellstate’s national expansion efforts by introducing NARB brokers to the Sellstate franchise concept, according to Art Darmanin, Sellstate CEO.
